Maulvi Iqbal Hyder, a lawyer of dubious reputation, has challenged eligibility of President Asif Ali Zardari in Election in Election Commission of Pakistan.
In the detailed judgment Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared NRO as unconstitutional and illegal. In the judgment a window has been opened to challenge Mr Zardari' eligibility for the office of President. Maulvi Iqbal Hyder taking the opportunity has filed a petition before Election Commission of Pakistan requesting the Chief Election Commissioner to re-scrutinize candidates of the Presidential election.
Maulvi Iqbal Hyder has a track record of serving the interests of the establishment by filling such cases in the courts of law. The establishment's designs have exposed with the filing of a reference against President Zaradri's election by Maulvi Iqbbal Hyder.
