10 people kidnapped from old Larkana district

Jan21,2010: Law and order situation in larkana district, located in the northern part of Sindh province of Pakistan has worsened to such an extent that during the last 20 days 11 people have been kidnapped for ransom. Police of the area have failed to recover them. The helpless family members have started approaching feudal lords of the area to recovery of their near and dear ones.

The old Larkana district comprising present Larakan district and Qamber-Shahdakot district, is the native district of former prime minister late Mohterma Benazir Bhutto and now it is the district of President Asif Ali Zardari. In principle, the area should have ideal law and order situation but contrary to the fact it has become a hub of out laws.

The kidnapped are Menhon Khan Chandio, Khalid Mashwari, Hamzo Khan Chandio, Juman Khermtio, Pathan Bhatti, Qaimudin Shaikh and his nephew Ayaz Shaikh, Riaz Mugheri, Engineer Abdul Hadi Bhutto and taxi driver Bashir Dayo,Ghulam Mustafa Buhar, Abdul Khalid Buhar and taxi driver Shaikh.
